I’ve deleted this post three times already. Who am I kidding—I’ve tried to start this blog more times than I’ve begun my weight loss journey. There’s a voice in my head whispering, “Who cares about your journey? You’re not ‘there’ yet.” But today I am hitting publish before my inner critic can grab the keyboard.
That magical “there” doesn’t actually exist.
So why now? Maybe it’s because my inner world feels like it’s standing on the threshold of a new chapter, needing just one final nudge—a single drop in the glass that finally spills over and says: it’s time.
It’s time to go after dreams—the ones that really matter. Not just the professional milestones or chasing more money, but the deeply personal ones. The ones that signal my own rebirth.
Healing in silence often feels lonely. I rarely hear my mentors say they had the full support of family or friends. If you’ve felt the same, I hope this space makes you feel less alone.
This year, I’m learning how to trust my body again after years of diet chaos. I’m unpacking therapy breakthroughs that rocked me to my core. And I’m (slowly) making peace with the idea that growth isn’t a straight line.
This year, I’m finally starting that project management course—the next step toward my dream life: freelancing, working remotely, and traveling the world.
And every day, I’m doing something kind for the new me waiting at the end of this winding road.
This blog is my public diary of becoming: the therapy epiphanies that made me ugly-cry, the weight loss attempts that felt empowering (and those that completely backfired), the small wins like setting boundaries or cooking a meal without guilt.
If you’re here, maybe you’re also tired of pretending to have it all figured out. Maybe you need a reminder that growth is messy, and that’s okay.
So let’s promise each other—no performative perfection here. Just real stories, real stumbles, and real progress.
Where is your journey meeting you right now? Share below—I’d love to hear from you.
With Love,
Aneta
